Michael Welburn
Michael serves as the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Construction Management Central Queensland (CMCQ), known for his adept project and construction management and consultative expertise in the Civil construction field.
With over 16 years of experience in civil works, his uncompromising eye for detail has led to his exceptional track record in delivering projects across government and private civil sectors throughout Queensland.
Michael’s career is distinguished by his tenure with top-tier civil contracting firms, and large construction business’s, affirming his ability to lead complex transport and civil projects from inception to successful completion.
His ingrained understanding of the industry’s challenges and his strategic management approach have made him a well-regarded figure in construction management circles.
With this balanced combination of experience, skill, and a well-earned reputation for quality, positions him as a leader whose influence shapes the construction landscape in Central Queensland.
Project Engineer
Jack Grimley
Our dedicated Civil Engineer, Jack, whose results-oriented approach and solid professional experience are making waves in our project delivery team. With a rich background issuing from a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from CQU, Jack has quickly established himself as a proficient Project Engineer within the diverse landscape of Central Queensland.
In his years of hands-on involvement, Jack has developed a knack for adeptly managing intricate tasks, guiding projects to fruition, and smoothly collaborating with teams of varied backgrounds and expertise. His strong work ethic shines through every assignment, as does his commitment to harnessing and implementing industry best practices.
Notably, Jack’s experience extends to significant work with entities such as the Department of Transport and Main Roads, and many local government council regions. His role in contract management and the delivery of bituminous spray sealing work across several districts has not only honed his skill set but also made him thoroughly conversant with TIC/MIC contracts and a wealth of TMR’s technical publications and standards.
Jack’s blend of technical acumen, hands-on project experience, and contractual know-how places him in an excellent position to take on and conquer new challenges, adding exceptional value to our engineering and project delivery teams.
